Health & Travel Insurance

We highly recommend that our customers have adequate Travel & Emergency Medical Insurance when travelling to France (or any other EU country). Available from as little as £16 per person with Sports Cover Direct.


Sports Travel insurance will provide cover for the whole time that you are on a trip away from home. It will cover you for any general travel issues, plus any issues related to the chosen sport(s). Cover is provided for your chosen sport (i.e. fishing/angling), plus all other sports in the same sports group or lower groups. Policies can be Single trip or Annual multi-trip. There are 3 levels of cover available to choose from which allow you to select how much cover you require for emergency medical expenses, cancellation, baggage, sports equipment etc.

Exclusive Bookings

All Lake Exclusive Bookings start and finish on Saturdays. You must be clear of the lake by 10am on departure day, no arrivals pre-2 pm without prior arrangement.

We also have free lakeside wi-fi, WC, basin and a pressure shower with hot water 24/7.

Compton's Lake


Total for up to 4 anglers from 945 euros per week

All Lake Exclusive Bookings require a 50%  Non Refundable deposit at time of booking. If you prefer to pay by international bank transfer, we will reserve the dates for 24 hours until we receive confirmation of your payment.

Outstanding balance of 50% to be paid at least 6 weeks before your arrival.


Tackle hire 95 euros per angler per week if required.

Bait boat hire 85 euros per angler per week if required.

Food Package


170 euros per person

If you choose the meal package, you will receive breakfast, lunch and a two-course evening meal for the duration of your holiday, starting with your evening meal on the first Saturday and ending with breakfast on the final Saturday.

We provide fresh drinking water, cups, plates, cutlery etc. We do not provide tea,  coffee, milk, sugar, soft drinks, beers or snacks. You can buy these from our local supermarket.
