Our regular Jim Smith was back for his 2 week summer session, and with temperatures reaching well into the 40's it was going to be challenging!
Jim started well on Compton's Lake and 2 days in, the unthinkable happened, and Jim landed a brace of 50's. This was another first for Jim and he was over the moon to land both 'Crackers' and 'Marty'.
The weather then started to get hotter and hotter, and with the runs drying up, Jim moved over to Harry's Lake which still produced even on the hottest day at 44 degrees! Well done to Jim for even trying to fish in those temperatures!
A good steady couple of weeks was had, and with summer always being a harder time of the year to catch, Jim did well as usual.
Enjoy the video catch report below and photos of some of the fish caught!
